  • I was reading the voting comments and see that some people actually think that there is something funny about the ads. Odd. They were like a bad-joke-in-which-the-teller-adds-an-explanation-right-after-the-punchline.

  • Hampster, Auschwitz has everything to do with America. Our own roots are intertwined in many ways that reach back to Auschwitz and WWII. This is a global memorial to this war that belongs to the nations of the world and happens to be on Polish soil.

  • Sandra and KC, I will disagree with you both on grounds that a people group should not be generalized in such a way. The actions of that generation of Nazi Germany and generation of Russians committed horrible actions that should not be forgiven.

  • That may sound convenient but the truth is that we owe it to them for the way our country turned its back on Poland during WW2. We may not feel the guilt but we at least remember that Poland was brutally ripped apart by two blood hungry countries and left to die.
